I'm Karishma, a multidisciplinary designer, educator and podcaster.

I unexpectedly entered the infinite world of podcasts in 2018 when I co-created Small Town Big Dreams podcast to share the stories of creative entrepreneurs. What I thought would be a "one-off" project, led to many more and I have created several series of podcasts to date independently and for other companies across hosting, creating and curating.

I have reviewed podcasts since 2019 for BBC Radio Ulster and WhyFi Productions as part of The Ticket arts show, covering over 500 podcasts to date which has opened my mind to the possibilities of what can be done in terms of audio creation and how podcasts can spark the imagination just as books or films can.

I finally decided to set up The Curated Pod to separate my work as a designer from my work as a podcaster.
